City Stadium, Wroclaw: The build is currently on hold because of the problems with delays. Now new executor is preparing to take over the building-site.

Euro 2012 stadiums – Wroclaw City Stadium

Wroclaw City Stadium is being currently constructed in Maslice district (on the north-west side of the  city). This building will contain about 42.000 seats and interesting look. Stadium will hold three group games of the tournament. For the needs of Euro 2012 the stadium will contain exactly 41737 seats and for other games (including Polish league) 42871. There will be 330 urinals, 125 men toilets and 250 women toilets. Purchasing food will be available on two 290 meters long promenades. First ridge of seats will be placed at height of one meter and the whole building height will be at 39 meters above  ground.

The characteristic roof look is based on the outer net undone between steel rings around the stadium.

The stadium will be fully capable of hosting big international events, concerts and games. This innovative construction will be surely one of the most beautiful stadiums on this tournament. Just check some samples of proposed night ilumination:

Currently the building is being constructed. The whole enterprise started in 2009 and is supposed to end ad mid 2011.
